STEVENS POINT – The Stevens Point Area Co-op is seeking an individual to fill an immediate seat opening on the organization’s board of directors, after an existing member resigned from the position.
“The notice of resignation was June 21,” said April Annechiarico, collective manager at the co-op. “At this point, any interested nominees would need to attend the co-op board meeting on July 23 at 6 p.m. to be eligible.”
Co-op leaders will announce the selected candidate following the July board meeting. New candidates may nominate themselves for the role at the meeting on July 23.
Eligible applicants must be members of the co-op and should submit a letter of interest to current a board member. Board members serve three-year terms and aid in the co-op’s management. Compensation for serving on the board includes a 20 percent membership discount at the co-op.
Stevens Point Area Co-op Board of Directors meetings are held every fourth Tuesday of the month at 6 p.m. on the second floor of the co-op.
Letters of interest may also be emailed to [email protected]
