STEVENS POINT – Chic styles and fashion are coming to downtown Stevens Point. Willow Sage, located on 1236 Third Street, is set to open their doors to the public, with a grand opening on July 18.

“I am looking forward to opening Willow Sage and seeing all of the new and familiar faces of Stevens Point,” said Sierra Vuorinen, owner.

Willow Sage is a women’s clothing and accessory store, based in the heart of the city. Vuorinen has experience owning and managing, Sierra’s Styles, and wanted to try her hand at a new business venture.

“I have owned my hair salon for a few years now and had wanted to open another business, but wasn’t sure what,” Vuorinen said. “I started Willow Sage back in February as an online store only, doing drop-shipping. Then life just happened to unfold, and before I knew it, I was opening a store. I think I’m a born entrepreneur, and can’t wait to see what this journey brings.”

Vuorinen decided to establish her brick-and-mortar shop in the downtown area to stay connected to the community.

“I think downtown Stevens Point is a fantastic location to start my new business because a lot of people are down there for various reasons, and I feel like I’m becoming part of the community in a bigger way,” she said.
