Events scheduled to raise awareness on human trafficking

STEVENS POINT — Multiple events have been planned in effort to raise awareness to help stop human trafficking.
Real Women Real Life will host a series of events to “break the chains” of human trafficking. On July 22 a community impact fundraising event will be held at Pizza Ranch from 4PM – 8:30 PM, 1300 Commerce Place in Plover. Pizza Ranch will donate 10 percent of the earnings through that time to the organization.
On Friday, Aug. 9, at 5:30 PM, a Spaghetti Feed will be held with guest speaker Deanne Lawson, founder of the Inner Beauty Center. This will be held at 402 N. Main St. in Necedah.
The Real Freedom Run/Walk will take place on Saturday, Aug. 10, at 8:30 AM at Necedah Lion’s Park. A Men’s High Heel Dash, as well as a pancake breakfast will be held on that day.
