Jay-Mar, Inc. continues to donate food for K-9 program

PLOVER — A local business has stepped up to make sure that some of the department’s finest stay well-fed.
Jay-Mar, Inc. is donating the food for Stevens Point’s Police Department’s K-9s Fala and Luna. Prior to this, the food had been provided by Earthborn Holistic, but discontinued the program.
“We, recognizing the important role these dogs play in our community, quickly decided that Jay-Mar would continue to feed the dogs at our expense.” said Jar-Mar Inc. President/Inside Sales Tony Grapsas.
Earthborn Holistic had been feeding “any police dog, anywhere,” which included Stevens Point K-9s since last year.
“We picked up the mantle in May when Earthborn stopped.” said Grapsas.
Jay-Mar, Inc. is a family-owned company in Plover. They carry premium dog and cat foods, as well as pet supplies. They are located at 2130 Jay Mar Rd in Plover.
