STEVENS POINT – On Aug. 3, the Boys & Girls Club of Portage County will host its 11th annual Bike for Boys & Girls Club event, starting and ending at AIG Travel, 3300 Business Park Dr., Stevens Point.

After the ride, participants will enjoy a family-friendly after party. Yard games, inflatables, and face painting are just some of the things expected at the finish line. Free ice cream will be provided to end the event on a sweet note.

From training wheels to racing bikes, this event is designed to cater to all ages and abilities. Pick between the four-, eight-, 13-, 20-, and 60-mile routes.

The Bike for Boys & Girls Club event is a fundraiser for the Boys & Girls Club of Portage County, an organization whose sole purpose is to give youth in Portage County a safe and fun place where they can get active, learn, grow and make new friends. With the community’s participation, the club can continue improving the lives of local youth and continue to open doors for the future leaders of Portage County.
