Special Storm Damage Pickup:

The Village of Plover will provide a special curbside pickup for storm damage only materials (tree branches, tree trunks, and tree bushes).  Pickup will begin on Tuesday, July 23, 2019. Please place storm damage materials next to the outer edge of the asphalt roadway on your street.  Branches and tree trunk lengths are not to exceed 8 feet in length. DO NOT place any materials on the asphalt roadway and do not let branches extend into the street.  Crew will not pick up leaves, twigs, compost, or grass clippings. Heavy machinery will pick up brush and logs. As such, any remaining materials will be the responsibility of the property owner.

Also, stumps will not be taken as part of the special storm pickup.  Property owners will be responsible for removing any stumps on their property.

Once crews have made it through the entire Village a second pickup will be scheduled at a later date.  Please be aware that the contractors performing the work have placed their private business on hold to provide assistance to the Village.  As such, a second pickup will occur when the Village can arrange the contractors to return for a second pickup. Please check the Village’s website (www.ploverwi.gov) and the Village Public Works Department Facebook Page for notice of the second pick up.  A press release will also be issued once a second pick up date has been selected.

If you have any questions please contact the Public Works Department at 715-345-5257, or the Village of Plover Office at 715-345-5250.  The Public Works Department can be reached Monday thru Friday between 8:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.
