Postgame interviews with Zach Zimmerman, Isaac Cychosz, Justin Morton and JD Schultz of the Stevens Point Sixers American Legion Baseball team, and Derek Baumgartner, Brett Ehr, Mason King and Mike Glodosky of the Plover Black Sox, following their game in the AAA Region 2 Regional Tournament at Bukolt Park Monday, July 22.

After Plover lost 5-4 to Wisconsin Rapids Monday afternoon in a meeting of the last two unbeaten teams in the Regional, the rival Black Sox and Sixers squared off in an elimination game Monday night.

Plover scored four runs in the top of the first inning, but Point answered with six runs in the bottom of the first inning to take a 6-4 lead, and went on to an 11-9 win to advance to the final day of the Regional Tuesday, July 23, and end the Black Sox’ season.
