India Festival to benefit Mother Teresa Shelter

STEVENS POINT — The Mother Teresa India Festival, will be held Saturday, September 14 from 3-7pm at Pacelli High School.
Learn about India customs & enjoy an India meal all while helping to raise funds for the Mother Teresa Shelter Home in Tanjore, India. The meal buffet is being served from 4:30-6pm and includes chicken curry, white rice and 6 other Indian dishes featuring a variety of vegetables, breads & dessert. Also featured are
Indian dancers, a sand art demonstration & cooking class. Also, there will be India clothing & food for sale, henna painting & a childrens sand art area. Cost is $12 for adults & $5 for children under 10. The event closes with a Colorfest walk at 7pm for an additional $8 donation for adults and $4 for children under 12-bring your own T-shirt.
