Obituary: Ruth M. Losey,

Ruth M. Losey, age 81, of Plover, WI passed away on July 22, 2019 after her short battle with pancreatic cancer. She was born on November 14, 1937 to Harry and Hazel (Moore) Brown in Stevens Point, WI.  Moving from Wisconsin she lived in Ridgefield, Washington for 42 years. Recently returning to spend time with her children. Ruth spent most of her life working secretarial jobs. Her last job before retirement was First American Title.  Ruth always enjoyed crocheting, tending to her flowers & playing Bunco with her friends. She taught herself accordion at a young age and enjoyed playing for family and friends.  She loved watching NBA basketball, supporting her local Portland Trailblazers and recently her favorite player Giannis Antetokounmpo.

She is survived by her children, Kathy (Joe)Meyer, Leanne (Jim)Schultz, Sandy (Dan Glisczinski), all of Almond. Kevin Pomplun, Plover, WI. One sister, Mildred (Leonard) Rybarczyk of Stevens Point, WI.  Her beloved companion Fritz the dog.  Grandchildren & great-grandchildren.  Ruth was preceded in death by her husband Donald, son Jim Pomplun. 

In accordance with Ruth’s wishes there will be no formal services. Burial will take place in the Plainfield Cemetery, Plainfield, WI.  Pisarski Community Funeral Home Plover is honored to be serving the family.
