Hunter Safety Course offered

PORTAGE COUNTY — The Portage County Sheriff’s Office is offering a Hunter Safety Course beginning September 30, 2019.
Classes will be on Monday September 30, Tuesday October 1, Thursday October 3, and Monday October 7 and will run from 4:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. There is also a field day on October 5 from 8:30 A.M. to 11:30 A.M. at the Dewey Range.
The afternoon classes will be held at the Portage County Sheriff’s Office training room, in the City of Stevens Point.
There is a $10.00 fee for this course, and anyone may attend. The material covered in this course is designed for students 11-12 years old and older.
