Obituary: Richard Kenneth Eastman

Richard Kenneth Eastman, age 83 of Wautoma, died unexpectedly on Sunday, July 28, 2019 at Thedacare Regional Medical, Neenah. He was born in Wild Rose to Kenneth and Lucille (Williams) Eastman. After High School, Richard joined the U.S. Air Force, serving from December of 1955 until honorable discharge in December of 1959. On July 26, 1974 he married Maureen Halboth in Waukegan, IL. Richard worked for over 40 years as a forklift mechanic until his retirement. He was an avid reader, enjoyed hunting, fishing, shooting trap and many other outdoor activities. He was a member of the Almond Rod and Gun Club. Richard will be sadly missed by his family and friends.

Richard is survived by his wife: Maureen Eastman; children: Kenneth (Mary) Eastman, Steven (Kim) Eastman, Scott (Kris) Eastman, Lori (Karl) Paisley, Scott Menger, Robert Menger, Robin (Chuck) Menger, Colleen Menger; nine grandchildren, six great grandchildren; brother: Neil (Doris) Eastman; sisters: Adora Turner, Marieta (Jeff) Huff; sister-in-law: Judy Eastman; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; a grandson and a brother.

Memorial services will be held at 6PM on Friday, August 9, 2019 at Leikness Funeral Home, Wautoma followed by military honors. The family will greet relatives and friends at the funeral home on Friday, August 9, 2019 from 4PM until the time of services at 6PM.  www.wautomafuneralhome.com
