Wallace T. Grulkowski, 76, Ringle, died Monday, July 29, 2019.

Wally was born on July 2, 1943, in Portage County, the son of the late Ted and Josephine (Omernick) Grulkowski.  On July 11, 1964, he married the late Joyce (Sieg) Grulkowski in Rothschild.  Wally was employed by Green Bay Packaging Inc., in Wausau until his retirement.

Wally’s enjoyment of the outdoors showed in his love for hunting, fishing and spending time up north at the cabin.  Wally also enjoyed working in his wood shop building furniture and toys for friends and family.  Wally liked nothing better than a visit with family and friends.  The loss of his sociable spirit, interesting stories and infectious personality will be missed by all those who knew and loved him.

Wally is survived by two sons, Kip (Monika) Grulkowski, Elderon, and Brian (Kristy) Grulkowski, Hatley; one daughter, Michelle (Michael) Hudson, Ohio; and five grandchildren, Cody Grulkowski, Aleksandra Grulkowski, Rene Hudson, Alaina Hudson and Erin Hudson.  He is further survived by one brother, Jerry Grulkoski; and four sisters, Violet Gorski, Mary Ann Landowski, Shirley Gorski and Carol Kapellusch.

Wally was preceded in death by his wife, Joyce Grulkowski; and parents, Ted and Josephine Grulkowski.

Per Wally’s wishes, a private family memorial will be held to celebrate his life.
