Carousel Gymnastics to celebrate 25 years

PLOVER – Twenty-five years ago, Chris Barden opened Carousel Gymnastics in a rental facility in Plover.  One year later, a new facility was built on the dairy farm where Chris and her husband lived. To celebrate this milestone, Carousel Gymnastics will host a “Down on the Farm” event.

Over the years, the farm was home to the USAG & AAU Gymnastics business, but became an education opportunity for non-farm kids to experience farm life.  Many of the team students have become employees of the farm during planting and harvesting seasons.

In 2017, Caousel Gymnastics added a second facility in Waupaca. With this new facility, they were able to become a licensed Ninja Zone program as well.

Down on the Farm will take place Aug. 17, 10 a.m. – 2 p.m., at 6487 Eckels Rd., Plover. The event will include team exhibitions, at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m.; Ag Olympics; face painting; crafts; pedal tractor races; a petting zoo; dirt dig; a d
