Kildahl advances through Central Wisconsin’s Got Talent

MARSHFIELD – Stevens Point native, Lydia Kildahl, 17, was chosen to advance to state teen talent competition on July 27, during Central Wisconsin’s Got Talent, held in Marshfield.
The contest saw acts from Spencer, Rib Lake, Stevens Point, Pittsville, Colby, Stratford, Loyal, Hewitt, and Marshfield.
Taking first place in the event overall was 7-year-old Brandi Becker, of Pittsville, with her routine to “Paralyzed.” Taking second place overall was Emma Dorshorst, 16, of Marshfield, with her rendition of “Oh Mio Babbino Caro” by Puccini.
Lydia Kildahl, 17, of Stevens Point, was chosen to advance to the state teen talent competition, in Milwaukee. She accompanied herself on guitar, as she sang “Black Roses” from the former television show “Nashville.”
