For more information on the event, contact Diane Gilbert at 715-346-3836.

Carry (Boehning) Bellanti played for the UWSP women’s basketball team from 1998 to 2002, and was a three-time All-Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) selection (2000, 2001 and 2002) and a 1999 WIAC All-Defensive team member. She was also part of the 2001-02 UWSP team that compiled the most wins in the program’s history. She currently ranks fifth in school history with 739 career rebounds and is eighth in career scoring with 1,274 points. Carry was also part of the Pointers’ 2002 NCAA Division III National Championship team, where she was named to the Final Four All-Tournament Team and was selected as the 2002 Final Four Most Valuable Player.

Carry graduated in 2002 with a bachelor of science in family and consumer sciences and health education, with a nutrition minor. She is currently a family and consumer sciences teacher at Wausau West High School, and resides in Abbotsford with her husband Dean and their three daughters Lily, Aubree and Nicole.

Jennifer (Davis) Cashin was a very skilled midfielder for the UWSP women’s soccer team from 1996 to 1999, with 25 goals and 46 assists in her career. She set many records at UWSP, including the single-season record for goals and assists as a sophomore, and surpassed her own record the next year, as well as establishing a WIAC single season record, with 20 assists as a junior. She was a three-time All-WIAC pick with second-team honors in 1997 followed by first-team accolades in 1998 and 1999. In 1999, she was a First Team All-Central Region honoree, the only player on the team to achieve this title that season. During her career, she helped the Pointers to WIAC Regular Season and Tournament Titles in 1997, 1998 and 1999. Jennifer was also a four-time scholar athlete.

She currently teaches physical education and health at Watertown High School, where she is also the Department Chair and was the head soccer coach from 2003-2015.

Chase Gross swam for the UWSP men’s swimming and diving team from 2005 to 2009. He won 11 WIAC Championships as an individual and 12 WIAC Championships on relay teams. He was a six-time NCAA Individual All-American, a six-time NCAA All-American in relays, a three-time NCAA Individual Honorable Mention All-American and an eight-time NCAA Honorable Mention All-American in relays. Gross was named the 2009 WIAC Athlete of the Year and earned WIAC Swimmer of the Meet in 2008 and 2009. He currently ranks third in all-time program history for the NCAA All-American accolades, while the Pointers won the WIAC Team title all four years of his career.

Gross graduated from UWSP with a bachelor of science in economics and a coaching minor. He currently works at Capella University as an Operations Analyst, and resides in Edina, Minn., with his wife Jenna and their dog Wallace.

Len Hill began his career as an assistant coach for the UWSP men’s and women’s track and field teams and as the women’s cross country head coach in 1984. After two years, coach Hill became the head coach of both women’s programs. Throughout his 21 years at UWSP through 2005, Hill was named the WIAC Cross Country Coach of the Year five times and the Outdoor Track and Field Coach of the Year twice.

Under Hill’s tutelage, 14 Pointers won Individual National Championships. He coached nine NCAA Division III All-Americans in cross country, while his teams finished in the Top 10 in the nation seven times, including a third-place finish in 2003. He also guided the women’s cross country team to back-to-back WIAC Titles in 2003 and 2004, and coached three WIAC Individual Champions in Wendi Zak (1995), Leah Juno (2000) and Becky Lebak (2001).

Hill also coached 38 NCAA Indoor Track and Field All-Americans and 41 Individual Indoor Conference Champions. His teams came away with five Top 10 NCAA Team finishes at Indoor Track and Field Nationals, where the Pointers finished fourth in 2001 and third in 2004.

In outdoor track and field, Hill coached 46 Conference Champions and 63 All-Americans, while his teams finished in the Top 15 at Nationals seven times.

Hill retired in July of 2005 to spend more time with his wife Judy and their children Jason and Nikki. He returned to UWSP from 2008 to 2011 as an assistant track and field coach, and now enjoys spending his time helping as an assistant coach for the track and field teams at Rosholt High School.

Michelle (Pascavis) Scarpone received First Team All-WIAC honors during both of her seasons on the UWSP women’s golf team in 2007-08 and 2008-09, as she helped the Pointers win back-to-back WIAC Titles, and was the 2008 WIAC Player of the Year. She was named to the All-Region team in 2008 and 2009, and was an All-American in 2009. As a freshman, Michelle placed 34th overall at the NCAA Division III Tournament, as the Pointers finished 12th at Nationals. As a sophomore, she placed 20th at the NCAA Tournament and helped the Pointers to a National Runner-up finish.

Michelle graduated with a double major in elementary education and special education, as well as a masters’ in reading specialist. She currently resides in Overland Park, Kan., with her husband Creighton (who played hockey for UWSP) and their daughter Elise.

Amanda Prawat played for the UWSP women’s soccer team from 2005 to 2008, and was a First Team All-WIAC selection in all four years. She was a Second Team All-American in 2008 and was a Second Team All-Region selection in 2006 and 2007.

During her senior season, she scored 30 goals and 73 points, which are still single-season school records. Her 86 career goals and 204 career points remain the most in program history and are also WIAC career records. She also ranks eighth in WIAC history with 32 career assists.

During her time at UWSP, the Pointers were a NCAA Sectional Semifinalist in 2007 and 2008, and the WIAC Regular Season and Tournament Champions in 2008. Amanda graduated from UWSP with a bachelor of science in sociology and moved to Colorado in 2009. She currently resides in Denver, Colo., with her husband Chris Conway (former UWSP hockey player) and their two daughters Zoey and Charlotte.

The 2009 UWSP women’s golf team finished as National Runner-up, which is the highest team finish in program history. Jessica Urban paced the team with a second-place individual finish, three strokes back, with a four-day score of 297. Michelle Pascavis tied for 20th with a score of 325, and Nacheynah Green shot a 328 to tie for 31st. Danelle Olson and Amanda Dlugopolski completed the scoring for UWSP with T-64th- (337) and T-75th-place (342) finishes, respectively. Urban was named PING NGCA Division III Player of the Year, while the Pointers also won their second-straight WIAC Championship that year.
