Final storm damage pickup to start Aug. 26 in Plover

For the City Times
PLOVER – The second, and final, storm damage pickup will start on Aug. 26.
Only tree branches, tree trunks, and bushes with no root balls will be collected. Place storm damage materials next to the outer edge of the asphalt roadway on your street. Branches and tree trunks are not to exceed eight feet in length.
The temporary tree and brush drop off locations at Okray Park and Kubacki Park are now closed. Those who wish to haul storm damage materials instead of waiting for the second pickup must take such materials to the village’s compost site at the Village of Plover Wastewater Treatment Plant Facility, 4496 Coolidge Avenue, Plover.
No additional storm pickups will be scheduled. Because of the two storm damage pickups, the village has cancelled the Fall Curbside Brush Pickup, which was scheduled to begin on Oct. 9. The garden/compost/lawn material pickup will occur as originally scheduled.
For more information, call the Public Works Department at 715-345-5257 or the Village of Plover Office at 715-345-5250.
