School Board seeks applications

STEVENS POINT – The Stevens Point Area Public School Board addressed a board vacancy at their Aug, 12 meeting, created by the departure of Amy Dailey, who has served the district since April 2016.
During her tenure with the Board, Dailey served as both the treasurer and chair of the business services committee.
The school board is accepting applications from those interested in serving on the board.
Information is available online at www.PointSchools.net/schoolboard or at Bliss Educational Services Center, 1900 Polk Street, Stevens Point. Applications will be accepted until Aug. 29. The board will appoint a replacement at a Sept. 6 special meeting; the appointee with serve the remaining term, which expires April 2020.
