Letter to the Editor: Plover/Whiting Red Cross Blood Drive a success
Dear editor,
We offer our sincere appreciation to all the donors who made the Aug. 5 Plover/Whiting Red Cross Blood Drive such a big success. 78 units of blood were donated!
As co-chairs, we are grateful to the donors, the volunteers and the Red Cross personnel who worked to make the drive the achievement it was. Our thanks to McCain Foods for sponsoring this drive, and to Judi and Bob Polum for their many years of volunteering for the blood drives.
Congratulations to Jeanne Karch who reached 30 gallons of donated blood!
Please mark Oct. 7 on your calendar, the date of the next Red Cross Blood Drive at the Plover Municipal Building. Donation hours will be from noon – 6 p.m.
