Gangsters of Wisconsin’s Past – Author Event

STEVENS POINT – On Sept. 7, the Portage County Public Library will welcome back author, Chad Lewis.
Lewis will present on Wisconsin’s seedy and notorious criminal past, involving John Dillinger, Al Capone, Ma Barker, Baby Face Nelson, Homer Van Meter, and Alvin “Creepy”Karpis.
Chad Lewis is the author of over 20 books including, “The Wisconsin Road Guide to Gangster Hot Spots” and “The Minnesota Road Guide to Gangster Hot Spots.”
This event will be held at 1 p.m. at the Stevens Point location of the Portage County Public Library.
