Elizabeth J. “Betty” Burinski, born May 18, 1925, passed on August 15, 2019 at the age of 94.

Betty was heady, deep, creative, avid reader, always looking for answers and smart and brave enough to come to her own conclusions.  She was a mother, wife, business partner, tavern owner, an animal lover, neighborhood animal rescue guru, gardener extraordinaire, (everything she grew looked happy to be alive), arts supporter, artist, singer, piano player and music lover.  She was in love with nature.  She knew.

She was definitely an original

A monument of a woman, Betty, was light years ahead of her time and surely a genius in her own right.  She will live on in the hearts and minds of many due to her impact on those who were lucky enough to know her.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard J.“Lenny”, daughter, Barbara J. “Bodge” Burinski and Sister Mary Ellen”Mimi” Nelson.
