Riverfront Jazz Festival sees another successful year

STEVENS POINT – Many gathered at Pfiffner Pioneer Park this Labor Day Weekend to hear the effervescent tones of jazz move throughout the downtown and waterfront area at the Riverfront Jazz Festival.
Entertainment featured a mixture of local and award-winning jazz, merging local talent with internationally renowned acts like Brian Lynch.

The jazz festival, which started in 2004, works in unison with UW-Stevens Point to promote the fine arts and jazz culture. UWSP staff use the venue as a possible launching pad for local Portage County musicians.
