For the City Times

MADISON, Wis. – August ended on a high note for a local Wisconsin Lottery player, who will split the $96,000 Badger 5 jackpot with another winner.

Badger 5 hit it lucky in two separate Wisconsin locations on Aug. 31. The first ticket was purchased at The Store, 1011 Post Rd., Plover, and the second at Trig’s Food & Drug, 110 S. 17th Ave., Wausau. Both players matched all five winning numbers – 11, 16, 20, 21, 31 – to split the $96,000 jackpot, each taking home $48,000.

The odds of winning the Badger 5 jackpot are 1 in 169,911.
