Skyward team wins Plover VFW Golf Scramble

PLOVER – The Skyward team took the top score to win the 15th Annual Plover Veterans of Foreign Wars Golf Scramble on Sept. 7 at the Wisconsin River Golf Club, Stevens Point.
Twenty-five teams participated in the fundraising scramble, which kicked off with a shotgun start fired from a howitzer, courtesy of the Wisconsin National Guard Bravo Battery 1/120 unit.
Funds raised during the event will be used for local area veteran needs, community support, and ongoing support of the Fisher House, a “home away from home” for military and veterans’ families when a loved one is hospitalized at Zablocki VA Medical Center in Milwaukee.
Skyward team members were: Ronald Cisewski, Wayne Cisewski, Jim Groshek, and Eric Cisewski.
