STEVENS POINT – When your trash is taken from your home or business, where does it go? Recycling Connections is offering a special tour on Oct. 3, to experience the path of your trash and recyclables.
Participants will receive an exclusive tour of Cranberry Creek Landfill in Wisconsin Rapids, tour the Portage County Solid Waste Materials Recovery Facility (MRF) & Transfer Station, and end with a “tap talk” at O’so Brewing Company. The tour will take place from 12:30-5 p.m.
Registration is required and includes transportation from and returning to O’so Taproom and one beer ticket for every attendee 21 or over. The tour is open to anyone, but is limited to 14 people.
