Week 4 High School Football Results

Local results from Week 4 of the high school football season Friday, Sept. 13.

In a battle of teams unbeaten in the Central Wisconsin Conference (CWC) Small, the Division 7 eighth-ranked Almond-Bancroft High School football team improved to 4-0 and 2-0 in the conference with a 26-6 win at home over Pittsville (2-2, 1-1).

Division 5 second-ranked Amherst (4-0, 2-0) also remained unbeaten on the season with a 52-0 win at Shiocton (1-3, 0-1).

Stevens Point Area Senior High School (SPASH) (0-4, 0-4) lost 41-7 to second-ranked and reigning WIAA Division 1 State Runner-up Kimberly (4-0) at Community Stadium at Goerke Field, in the Panthers’ final Valley Football Association (VFA) crossover game this season.

Rosholt (2-2, 1-0) lost 39-7 at home to Division 7 seventh-ranked Oshkosh Lourdes (4-0) in a nonconference game, and the Pacelli Catholic High School football team (1-3, 0-1) lost 14-8 at Fall River/Rio (2-2) in a nonconference game.
