Kathleen Nagorski, 69, passed away peacefully on Friday, Sep. 13, 2019 after a 16-year battle with cancer with her three nieces by her side.

Kathy was born in Stevens Point on Dec. 6, 1949, daughter of the late Edward and Lila (Ostrander) Nagorski. She graduated from PJ Jacobs High School in 1968 & worked as a hairdresser for several years before relocating to Cape Coral, FL in 1982.

In Florida, Kathy worked as a server for various restaurants and was at Royal Palm Yacht Club for many years before going to Backwater Jacks’ in Bonita Bay in 1997, where she worked for over 15 years. She became friends with many Bonita Bay residents and started pet-sitting for many of them, which she enjoyed immensely. She loved spending time with her family and friends, taking trips to Disney World, the Florida Strawberry Festival and home to Wisconsin to visit family & friends.

She was a loving sister, aunt and friend. Everyone who knew her said she was a wonderful person, always smiling and making people laugh. She will be dearly missed by all and forever in our hearts.

Survivors include her brother, Chuck (Cathie) Nagorski, Castle Rock, WA; a nephew, Mark (Cindi) Slowinski, Stevens Point; four nieces, Kim (Rich) Fragapane, Melissa Klopotek and Ashley Wilson, all of Cape Coral, FL, and Sherece Koehler, Ohio; two great-nieces, five great-nephews and many cousins and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, an infant brother and sister, David and Charlene; an adult brother, Randy; and two adult sisters, Linda & Barb.

Kathy’s visitation & funeral service will be held on Thursday, Sept. 26. Visitation and service will be at Fuller Metz Cremation & Funeral Services, 3740 Del Prado Blvd, Cape Coral, FL  33904. Visitation will be from 4-6p.m. with the service at 6 p.m. Inturnment will take place on  Sept. 28 at 10 a.m. at Coral Ridge Cemetery, Cape Coral, FL.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Sept. 29 from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. at Backwater Jacks Bar & Restaurant in Bonita Bay at 27598 Marina Pointe Drive SW, Bonita Springs, FL  34134.
