Letter to the Editor: A thank you to the residents of Stevens Point and Portage County
Dear editor,
2019 was another successful year! We would like to extend a big thank you to those who donated to our annual ‘Fill the Boot’ Campaign for the Muscular Dystrophy Association as we could not have been successful without your overwhelming support. Thanks to your generosity, we were able to raise $17,251.20 for the MDA. Words cannot express how grateful and proud we are to represent this community.
Special recognition to our retired members who worked alongside us collecting donations, to ChiefBob Finn, Assistant Chiefs Joe Gemza and JB Moody, and Mayor Mike Wiza for their continued support and assistance.
