Pacelli boys win Small School Title at SPASH Invitational

The 11th-ranked Pacelli Catholic High School boys cross country team won the Small School Division at the SPASH Panther Invitational at Standing Rocks County Park Saturday, Sept. 14. The Pacelli Catholic High School boys cross country team won the Small School Division at the SPASH Panther Invitational at Standing Rocks County Park Saturday, Sept. 14.

The 11th-ranked Cardinals totaled 224 points to finish seventh overall and win the Small School Title over Auburndale (262), Rosholt (302), Amherst (396) and Iola-Scandinavia (411).

Freshman Gabe Hoerter finished 22nd overall in 17:48.5 to lead Pacelli, followed by junior Jay Engebretson (34th), freshman Adam Eiden (40th), junior Sam Grywacz (56th), sophomore Ben Haemmerle (87th), junior Jacob Zimmerman (116th) and senior Mitchell Jensen (117th).
