September 17, 2019

Slashed tires 

On Sept. 17 at 9:14 a.m. a 25-year-old Stevens Point female reported that three of the tires on her vehicle had been slashed. A 28-year-old male was named as a suspect. The incident took place at a residence on Union Street in Stevens Point.

 

September 18, 2019

Requested self-arrest

On Sept. 18 at 2:34 a.m. a 34-year-old Stevens Point male called the police department and requested that he would like to be arrested because he was bored. The male was told that that was not a valid reason to be arrested and the male proceeded to hang up. It was stated that the male sounded tired or possibly intoxicated.

 

September 20, 2019

Disturbance 

On Sept. 20 at 1:44 a.m. disorderly conduct was reported on College Avenue and Phillips Street in Stevens Point. The incident involved a 21-year-old male, a 23-year-old male, a 22-year-old female, and a 22-year-old male and resulted in the arrest of the 21-year-old male and 22-year-old male on charges of littering.

 

Scam

On September 20 at 10:57 a.m. a 32-year-old female reported that two fraudulent checks had been deposited at a Stevens Point credit union. In addition to the fraudulent checks, the subject, a 39-year-old male, had spent thousands in purchases.

 

September 22, 2019

Underage party

On Sept. 22 at 1:56 a.m. an underage party was reported at a Stevens Point residence on Walter Street. The incident ended in three juveniles receiving citations for underage drinking. A citation was also issued to a 48-year-old female.
