CREATE adds Solin in new engagement director position

For the Gazette
PORTAGE COUNTY – CREATE Portage County has added a new position to their team, as Jeremy Solin comes on board as engagement director.
Solin will build relationships with both entrepreneurs and the partners who support the organization’s vision to “imagine, enhance, and deliver programming that accelerates more creative ventures in Central Wisconsin.”
An entrepreneur himself, Solin has participated in the IDEA Center, Hatch, and other CREATE-supported programming to assist with the launch of his infused maple syrup company, Tapped. Solin has also served as a founding board member for both Central Rivers Farmshed and the Point of Discovery School.
He most recently worked as the national program manager for ThinkWater, a sunsetting UW-Extension program that used systems thinking to activate community change on water issues in cities across the country.
