September 23, 2019

Accidental car theft 

On Sept. 23 at 10:18 a.m. a 37-year-old female reported that a 32-year-old male had stolen a company vehicle. The suspect, who was no longer employed by the company, stated that he thought he had 30 days to return the vehicle.

 

September 24, 2019

Grease fire

On Sept. 24 at 12:11 a.m. a 19-year-old Stevens Point male reported that there was smoke and flames coming from a fire started by grease on the stove of an Ellis Street residence in Stevens Point.

 

Corn theft 

On Sept. 24 at 8:29 a.m. it was reported that a 75-year-old male was stealing corn from a County Truckway HH residence.

 

September 25, 2019

Car vs. garage

On Sept. 25 at 3:27 a.m. a 60-year-old Stevens Point female reported that a 21-year-old Stevens Point male had driven his car into the garage of a Jordan Lane residence in Stevens Point. The driver was arrested for his second OWI.

 

September 27, 2019

Car break-in

On Sept. 27 at 3:33 p.m. a 45-year-old female reported that somebody had broken the back window of her vehicle. The complainant stated that the incident occurred while the vehicle, a Ford Focus, had been parked at a Stevens Point school. Nothing was reported as stolen.

 

September 28, 2019

Theft 

On Sept. 28 at 8:06 p.m. a 23-year-old female reported that a 50-year-old male had entered another 36-year-old female’s vehicle and taken items without her permission. The incident occurred on Main Street in Stevens Point.
