The Rosholt girls totaled 43 points to finish second behind Bonduel (30) and ahead of Clintonville (87) and Adams-Friendship (98).

Ross was also held out of the meet last year, when Rosholt’s Adam Rzentkowski won the Individual Title for the third time.

Ross won in 16:48.66 to beat freshman Gabe Hoerter of Pacelli (16:59.94) and sophomore Jesse Wilson of Clintonville (17:19.88), who finished second behind Rzentkowski last year.

Junior Nathan Kropidlowski was 11th for the Hornets, followed by junior Sam Trzebiatowski (18th), sophomore Marcus Stalter (34th), junior Anthony Bianco (35th), junior Conner McKay (45th) and freshman Jon Rutta (53rd), as the Rosholt boys finished fifth with 97 points.

The Stevens Point Area Senior High School (SPASH) JV team won the boys meet with 60 points, followed by Pacelli (73), Wittenberg-Birnamwood (91), Bonduel (97) and Rosholt.
