Local high school football results from Week 7 of the regular season Friday, Oct. 4.

Division 5 second-ranked Amherst and Division 6 seventh-ranked Manawa squared off in Amherst, with the lead in the Central Wisconsin Conference (CWC) Large at stake.

Amherst senior quarterback Lincoln Cullen and senior running back Aidan Elwood each had a rushing touchdown, and Cullen threw a 20-yard touchdown pass to junior wide receiver Carmelo Aleman, as the Falcons got out to a 21-0 lead in the second quarter.

Amherst added a safety in the third quarter, and Cullen and junior running back Bryan Groshek each had a touchdown run in the fourth quarter, as the Falcons (7-0, 5-0) clinched at least a share of the CWC Large Title with a 36-7 win over Manawa (5-2, 3-1).

Division 7 sixth-ranked Almond-Bancroft (7-0, 4-0) also clinched at least a share of the CWC Small Title, as it went on the road and won 40-0 at Wild Rose (0-7, 0-3).

Pacelli Catholic High School (2-5, 1-2) won 46-8 at home over Menominee Indian (2-5, 1-3), Stevens Point Area Senior High School (SPASH) (0-7, 0-6) lost 35-21 at Wisconsin Rapids (3-4, 3-4) in the battle for the Ol’ River Jug, and Rosholt (3-4, 2-2) fell 37-12 at home to Pittsville (4-3, 3-1).
