Experience the music of the 1920s at UWSP

STEVENS POINT – Step back to the days of “The Great Gatsby” and “The Charleston” as the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point Department of Music invites you to experience the 1920s.
“Experience the Music of the 20s,” the annual Music Department fundraiser, will be held Oct. 18 at 6 p.m.
The evening includes a reception with hors d’oeuvres and a cash bar, followed by a concert in Michelsen Hall at 7:30 p.m. and an after party featuring desserts and a cash bar, held in the Noel Fine Arts Center, 1800 Portage St., Stevens Point.
The evening highlights the talents of music faculty, students and alumni, and features music such as “The Charleston” and work from Louis Armstrong and musicals such as “Show Boat.”
Attendees are encouraged to wear attire from the 1920s.
