WIAA Boys Soccer Brackets Released

Brackets were released this week for the WIAA Boys Soccer Playoffs.

Stevens Point Area Senior High School (SPASH) received the fourth seed in its Division 1 Sectional, and will host fifth-seeded D.C. Everest in a Regional Semifinal at the Portage County Youth Soccer Complex at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 22.

The winner will play at either top-seeded Eau Claire Memorial or host eighth-seeded Eau Claire in a Regional Final Saturday, Oct. 26.

Amherst/Iola-Scandinavia/Rosholt (AIR) received a seventh seed in Division 3 and will host 10th-seeded Antigo in a Regional Quarterfinal at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 22.

The winner will play at second-seeded Medford in a Regional Semifinal at 7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 24, where that winner will move on to the Regional Final against either third-seeded Fox Valley Lutheran or sixth-seeded New London Saturday, Oct. 26.

The Pacelli Catholic High School soccer team received a fifth seed in its Division 4 Sectional and an opening-round bye.

The Cardinals will play at fourth-seeded Wisconsin Dells in a Regional Semifinal at 4 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 24, with the winner to play at either top-seeded Arcadia or host eighth-seeded La Crosse Aquinas or ninth-seeded Tri-County in a Regional Final Saturday, Oct. 26.
