BREAKING NEWS: Law enforcement detains individual after threats

From the Stevens Point Police Department:
Based on investigation regarding the threat received concerning a school within the Stevens Point School District, Law Enforcement determined the threat was a hoax which originated from another state. At 1130 AM, Law Enforcement will conduct a joint news conference with the School District at the Bliss Educational Service Center at 1900 Polk St.
STEVENS POINT- According to the Stevens Point Police Department, law enforcement has detained an individual concerning threats received earlier.
The Stevens Point Police Department announced on their Facebook page earlier “we are aware of a threat made concerning a school within the Stevens Point School District. As a precaution, we have requested the School District to place all schools in a Lock Out.
We are currently working to bring this situation to a quick resolve.”
