Patricia Ann Wnuk

Patricia Ann Wnuk, age 77, from the Village of Park Ridge, Stevens Point, WI passed away peacefully on October 16, 2019 after a long struggle with Parkinson’s disease.

Patricia’s life will be celebrated at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church (1709 Wyatt Ave.) Stevens Point, WI on Tuesday, October 22, 2019.  Friends and family are welcome to gather at the Church to visit and share memories from 9:00 – 10:30 AM.  A Catholic Mass will begin at 10:30 AM, followed by the Burial at Guardian Angel Cemetery.

Patricia was born September 12, 1942 in Black River Falls, the daughter of Ralph “Joe” Probst and Helen (Bruggeman) Probst.  She graduated from Maria High School in 1960 and continued her education at UW-Stevens Point, WI. She earned a Bachelor degree in Education (K-12) with a minor in music.  She worked as an elementary school teacher in Green Bay, WI.

On June 26, 1965, Patricia married the love of her life, James David Wnuk in Stevens Point, WI.  They had been married for 54-years living in Stevens Point, WI where they raised two daughters.  She later earned a Master degree in Education with an emphasis in reading disabilities.  She also worked as the Treasurer/Clerk for the Village of Park Ridge.  She enjoyed; gardening, music, art, spending time at the cottage, fishing and the outdoors.  She also enjoyed playing cards and games, especially Bingo.  She loved taking care of her family and beloved poodles.

Patricia is survived by her husband, James; two daughters: Julie (Joe) Wilcox, Baraboo, WI; Michele (Paul) Osborne, two granddaughters Katherine and Nicole Osborne, Oshkosh, WI; Brother Michael (Jean) Probst; two nephews, Matthew and Timothy Probst.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ralph “Joe” and Helen Probst.
