High School Football Week 9 Results

Local results from the final week of the 2019 high school football regular season Friday, Oct. 18.

The Division 5 second-ranked Amherst football team went on the road and won the Central Wisconsin Conference (CWC)-Large Title outright with a 28-14 win at reigning WIAA Division 6 State Champion Iola-Scandinavia (2-7, 1-5) to finish 6-0 in the CWC-Large this season and improve to 8-0.

Division 7 sixth-ranked Almond-Bancroft hosted Division 7 seventh-ranked Johnson Creek (7-2) in a nonconference game and won 34-28 to finish the regular season unbeaten at 9-0.

Pacelli Catholic High School (3-6, 2-3) won 43-13 at Wild Rose (0-9, 0-5), Stevens Point Area Senior High School (SPASH) (1-8, 1-7) lost 42-6 at D.C. Everest (5-4, 4-4), and Rosholt (4-5, 3-2) lost 35-0 at Division 6 ninth-ranked Coleman (7-2).
