VIDEO: Pacelli boys cross country at State Meet

Post-race interview with junior Jay Engebretson, freshman Adam Eiden and freshman Gabe Hoerter of the Pacelli Catholic High School boys cross country team, after the WIAA Division 3 State Meet at The Ridges Golf Course in Wisconsin Rapids Saturday, Nov. 2.

The Cardinals, who were unranked going into Sectionals, placed fifth at state with 173 points, as second-ranked La Crosse Aquinas (68) won the State Title over fourth-ranked Brillion (96), top-ranked Kohler (119) and seventh-ranked Clear Lake (168).

Hoerter finished sixth overall in 16:31.4 to lead ninth-ranked Pacelli, followed by Engebretson (34th), Eiden (65th), junior Sam Grywacz (89th), sophomore Ben Haemmerle (115th), senior Mitch Jensen (143rd) and junior Jacob Zimmerman (148th).
