VIDEO: #2 Amherst vs. #1 Stratford

Highlights from the second-ranked Amherst High School football team’s WIAA Division 5 State Semifinal against top-ranked Stratford at Stiehm Stadium in Schofield Friday, Nov. 15, and postgame interview with Amherst football head coach Mark Lusic.

Stratford set a state record with 12 consecutive shutouts to start the season, but Amherst scored a touchdown in the third quarter to take a 7-6 lead.

Stratford (13-0) scored late in the third quarter to go up 12-7, and added another touchdown with 2:26 left in the fourth quarter to advance to the State Championship Game with a 19-7 win over Amherst (11-1).
