Portage County libraries to host storytimes

PORTAGE COUNTY – “Family Storytime” will begin Jan. 8 and continue through May 2 at the Rosholt, Almond, and Plover locations of the Portage County Public Library. Children of all ages – infants through preschoolers – are welcome to attend. These programs are designed to build children’s language and literacy skills through books, rhymes, music, and movement.
Rosholt Library storytime will be held every Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. At the Almond Library, storytime takes place every other Thursday at 10:30 a.m. – Jan. 9 and 23; Feb. 6 and 20; March 5 and 19; April 2, 16, and 30. The Plover Library’s storytime is set for every Friday at 10:30 a.m.
The Plover Library will also offer a “Pop-Up storytime” on Wednesday mornings at 10:30 a.m. Pop-Up storytime is for two or more children and their adults, who have popped-in to visit the library that day.
