SPASH wins battle at Appleton East

After trailing at the half, the SPASH boys basketball team was able to battle back and win at home against Appleton East on Jan. 21.
East held a 32-27 lead after the first half of the game. The SPASH boys were able to fight back and win the close game with a final score of 60-58.
Evan Vollendorf led SPASH’s scoring with 20 points. Austin Beyer added 18 points, and James Jacobs scored 13.
After the win, SPASH was 8-5 on the season and 4-1 in the Wisconsin Valley Conference.
The Panthers heads to Marshfield on Jan. 24 for a conference game at 7:45 p.m. The SPASH girls will take on Marshfield at 6 p.m.
