Point police seek assistance in locating a missing autistic man

Missing person complaint is cancelled. Sylvan has contacted family members and is no longer listed as a missing person.
No further information will be released at this time.
The Stevens Point Police Department is seeking the public’s help in locating an autistic man.
On Feb. 11, Stevens Point Police Department received a report of a missing 22-year-old male. Sylvan Dyken, of Stevens Point, was last seen by family members the morning of Feb. 11; however, family members have received text messages and emails since that time.
Sylvan’s last known location is Pittsburgh, PA.
The Stevens Point Police Department is attempting to locate Sylvan for a welfare check. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Communications Center at 715-346-1500.
