Almond-Bancroft goes big against Gresham

STEVENS POINT – The Almond-Bancroft boys basketball played Gresham and got a big win on Feb. 13.
Gresham hosted the Eagles for a non-conference game and the Eagles wasted no time getting out ahead of the competition. Heading into the locker room at the half, the Almond-Bancroft boys had a lead of 42-31.
The Central Wisconsin East leaders also outscored Gresham in the second half and took home a 76-59 win.
Almond-Bancroft is 9-1 in the conference and is now 18-2 overall.
Elijah Kollock scored 22 points to lead the Eagles. Teammates Jackson Beggs and Seth Bunders each added 13 points in the game. Gage Meddaugh also had 11 points for the Eagles.
Almond-Bancroft will host Wild Rose on Feb. 21 and then take on Pacelli on Feb. 27.
