PLOVER – Plover Village Treasurer Debbie Sniadajewski has announced her retirement after 45 years of serving the community.
President Tom Davies said he was thankful for Sniadajewski’s many years of service.
“It’s hard for us to lose the treasurer that we have had for 45 years, she’s very good at her job,” Davies explained. “We really do hate to see her leave.”
Village leaders are currently looking for a replacement to fill the treasurer position. Davies said he hopes to see the seat filled by mid-April.
The village treasurer is responsible for payroll, maintenance of financial and accounting records, reports, statements, and other fiscal record-keeping duties.
