Rosholt boys take loss from Pittsville

PITTSVILLE – Pittsville boys basketball hosted Central Wisconsin South conference rival, Rosholt on Feb. 21.
The Panthers held the Hornets to only 14 points in the first half, with a lead of 29-14 going into the break. The trend continued in the second half and Pittsville took the win, 68-34.
Rosholt’s scoring was led by Sam Trzebiatowski, who had 11 points for the Hornets.
Matthew Kissner led the Panthers with 22 points. Jordan Denniston added 14, and Landyn Wayerski put up 12.
Pittsville’s record improved to 7-4 in conference play and are now 15-5 overall. They will head to Tigerton on Feb. 24 and then host Wild Rose on Feb. 27 for their final regular season game.
Rosholt’s conference record falls to 2-10 and are now 6-14 overall. They are on the road for their next two games, first is Bowler on Feb. 24 and then Bonduel on Feb. 27.
