Almond-Bancroft finishes with a win against Pacelli

STEVENS POINT – Pacelli Cardinals boys basketball hosted the Almond-Bancroft Eagles in the final regular season game on Feb. 27, where the Eagles would take the win.
The first half of the game ended with the Eagles holding a two-point lead, at 25-23.
The second half had Almond-Bancroft’s offense coming out to shine as they outscored the Cardinals 39-28 to win the game, 64-51.
Pacelli was led on the floor by Elliot Parks, who put up 19 points. Weston Peplinski had 13, and Mason Schlagenhaft had 10.
Almond-Bancroft’s Thomas Hunt and Seth Bunders each hit three 3-pointers in the game for the Eagles. Elijah Kollock led the scoring with 15 points; Jackson Beggs had 13; and Bunders had 11.
Pacelli finishes the season with a 6-6 Central Wisconsin South conference record and 11-11 overall. They will host Colby for game one of regional play on March 3.
Almond-Bancroft finished second in the CWS conference, with a 10-2 record and 19-3 record overall. They will host Tri-County at home for a regional game on March 3.
