Utility maintenance to begin on Stanley Street
For the City Times
STEVENS POINT – Wisconsin Public Service will begin work on replacing aging overhead utilities along Stanley Street.
Work on Stanley Street, from Illinois Avenue to Wilshire Boulevard, is scheduled to begin March 2.
Roadway users can expect traffic shifts and minor delays in daily commutes as work is being conducted. No access restrictions are anticipated to properties along the corridor.
Work is expected to take approximately four to six weeks; however, field conditions or adverse weather could prolong work and cause a longer closure.
