Portage County to remove seasonal weight restrictions

PORTAGE COUNTY – On April 9, the Portage County Highway Department will remove seasonal weight restrictions on all County Trunk Highways east and south of the Wisconsin River, with the exception of County Highway X and County Highway DB.

All County Trunk Highways west of the Wisconsin River along with County Highway X and County Highway DB will remain posted until conditions change.

Any weight restrictions on state, city, village, or town roads are handled by the municipal entity.
