Community Blood Center to host mobile drive
For the City Times
STEVENS POINT – The Community Blood Center will host a mobile blood drive in the parking lot of the Stevens Point Area YMCA, 1000 Division Street, Stevens Point, on April 24, 8:30 a.m. – 1 p.m.
All appointment times are currently full, but donors should check back for cancellations and no shows.
The next scheduled drive is May 29 at the Portage County Business Council and June 19 at Ascension St. Michael’s. Appointments can be made at save3lives.org or by calling 800-280-4102.
The Community Blood Center urges all healthy and eligible donors to make and keep donation appointments to ensure a reliable blood supply is available for patients who count on transfusions for treatments – those needed today and into the future.
The Community Blood Center is the sole supplier of all blood and blood products to more than 20 hospitals in Wisconsin and the Upper Peninsula of Michigan.
